I've been dancing professionally for eight years, seven of them consecutive and as my sole means of income as an exotic dancer/stripper. For the past two years, I have been fortunate enough to have many opportunities to work in fun, creative environments where I can feel comfortable partying while earning money. It's like my nightlife and my dancer-business are merging. It's a very exciting time for me. I feel like seven years of practice have paid off.
Currently I have a day job in the hair industry and do dancing part-time. I work at the Lusty Lady in North Beach and twice a month I dance at the Cat Club, at Chez Badunkadunk and the Black Widows. I auditioned to go-go at Bondage a go-go last week so I might be working there soon to.I also do on-off events and parties. All of these different venues have have different qualities that I like about them.
The Lusty Lady is where I go for camaraderie, a steady paycheck, networking, exercise, and wearing cute accessories/outfits to frame my nakedness. It's cool to have someplace to practice pole-tricks while gossiping with my girlfriends.
The Cat Club nights are fun because I get to dance an actual stage set to music I picked out myself with moves I made up myself to go with the music I chose. There is also a bar and my friends come to these nights frequently so I can hang out and drink with my friends when I'm not giving lapdances (sometimes also with them).
The parties are fun because I can be more creative and extravagant with my costuming, especially if I'm not there to pole dance. I consider these little one-offs to be like the candy sprinkles on my metaphorical dance cake, with the LL and the Cat Club being the cake and frosting, respectively.
It's very nice to be able to have all these great opportunities for fun and profit, even if it does get a little crazed at times with the scheduling. On top of all this I'm scheduling pole-dancing lessons out of my home and other locations. But lucky everything promotes everything else.

Mount the Pole!

Hi Everyone,
I'm starting up this blog to let you all know about me and my pole dancing activities. I've been working the pole (so to speak) for over 8 years now, and specialize in spectacular tricks and graceful performance. I'll be talking about upcoming events and opportunities to take lessons, plus plenty of behind-the-scenes observations about San Francisco's demimonde of exotic entertainment, underground parties, and burlesque extravaganzas!
You can get in touch with me about lessons in the SF Bay Area by email - RocketgirlDancer -at- gmail -dot- com.
Up up and away!!!
